In the summer of 2003 the first edition of the “International Festival of Opera, Operetta and Ballet” was organized in Brasov City on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the Opera House in Brasov. The event annually reunites prestigious artists from Romania and other countries.

Measurement of milk is the annual event that marks the departure of flocks of sheep and cattle in the mountains. Sheep breeders in each village gather together to determine where to make materials in that year, who will shepherd them and who will commit to guard them during grazing. Sheep intercourse on the criteria established neighborhoods, or any other agreements between nations and the standards are climbing herds significant moments in Romanian rural communities. On the morning set, all owners of sheep off to the sheepfold, dressed for celebration.

Barsa Rally held for the first time in 2006 to replace the rally "Bucharest", canceled because of bad weather.

This rally is part of the National Rally Championship organized by the Romanian Federation of Motor Sports.

Fair Pantaleon Meet Bran sons and friends, St. Mary's Day 6-15 August

Aiming to become one of the most prominent manifestations of artistic creation Shepherd Rucar-Bran corridor area, joyful folkloric celebration, specifically called in the mountainous area, the suite of concerts and vocal ensembles with instrumental repertoire of traditional High authenticity of shepherd folklore.

Activities: Folk dance and song specific Bran; Fire traditionally accompanied by local customs of the region.
 

The Media Library of “Transilvania” University has organized the “ethno-medieval” festival “ETNOVEMBER” during the third week of November annually, since 1995. This festival brings forth the artistic and multicultural identity of the city, by initiating some dynamic and interactive cultural events of the media type.
